No vacancy

I have residents (I think)! I put this birdhouse out early this sping not really expecting to get anyone's attention. But now this House Wren couple seems really interested. They're funny to watch. He hangs around the house singing his heart out. When she comes near he gets excited and hops all around from the deck rail to the house to the tree...singing all the while. I think this is the female sticking her head out. While she's in the house he stays outside singing and chirping as if he's talking to her...convincing her to buy. As I understand it, he starts the nest building, when they're ready to mate she takes over the job. She must be inspecting his work. It looks promising though...they've spent a lot of time there and she's been bringing in small sticks. Maybe I'll have baby Wrens to blip in a couple months.
