I'm having a slow and lazy Saturday so decided to venture into our little balcony for a bit of inspiration. These are my dying chives. I love getting herb plants coz I always think that they would be handy when I need fresh herbs for cooking. Alas, my scattered brain always forgets to water them so they live and/ or die depending on the season.

The other day I was surprised to see a flower springing from the dying plant. I'm not sure if this is a good thing or not (apparently, basil plants produces flowers when they feel threatened!) but a flower growing from a dying plant?! My imagination is captured!

After my wee nap, I went back to look at at my 3 shots from today. I realised I like this coloured version better so away with the B&W for todays blip.
