Starry starry night.

Is that a star I see shining bright or maybe a planet?

(for those who don't know, the basic difference between a star and a planet is that a star emits light produced in its interior by nuclear 'burning', whereas a planet only shines by reflected light....so if you didn't, now you do, as I do....because I looked it up!!...when I was about 5 and interested in such things!)

Of course it's a star. I wonder, is it Sirius?...allegedly the brightest star in the sky? (I looked that up as well....only about 5 minutes ago!). Had a "follow that star!" feel about it.

Anyhow, as far as starry nights go in the burbs of London, this is about as starry as it gets and certainly as starry as I have seen it round these parts, so I had to share it with you.

I couldn't help myself singing Vincent in my head as I gazed up into the sparkle. Had to be in my head....first, it was late, second, have you heard me sing?

Really needs to be seen large.
