Are You Looking At Me? (Darth Pigeon)

What has this picture got to do with pattern/repeat (today's mission)? Well, I went to Leeds market as there is a Moroccan market travelling around the UK and is at Leeds for 4 days, ending tomorrow. So I thought I could get some colourful shots of the leather babouche slippers, tagines etc in repeat.

I went in my lunch hour which started off dry and sunny but as you can see from the picture, the sky turned grey, the wind whipped up and it started to pore down. The sort of windy rain that laughs in the face of anyone trying to use an umbrella, whipping it inside out making it useless.

I took some pictures of the pigeons on the tops of the outside stalls when I arrived when the sun was still there but the sky was starting to change. I also took some pictures of the leather babouche slippers and some of the other market stalls, but I like the look of the pigeon staring right at me with it's feathers all fluffed up. The other shots were not as strong and I will return to Leeds market a few more times yet as it has lots to blip.

So the tentative link is the intention to blip repeat/pattern. Well it's my journal and the intent was there if not executed. It will save for another blip.

Late blip at quarter to midnight as been having supper with friends. Will catch up on journals tomorrow.

At least it's Friday and the weekend stretches ahead :)
