Clean as a whistle

After a long but virtuous day at work I went home to get my weekend off to a virtuous start as well.

I spent most of the evening scrubbing the dishes, mopping the floors and oiling the dining table. After that I filled the water jug and thought our things looked so pretty together (a look that was doubled by the pride of hard graft) that they had to be my blip.

Just as I was finishing chef arrived home to cook pan fried sea bass, roast potatoes, steamed broccoli and pea puree - it looked like posh mushy peas to me but tasted much, much better :).
