Castor and Pollox

I went to see Castor and Pollox at the London Colisseum Theatre with Amy tonight. It was our first attempt at opera and the singing was in English though it was still helpful to have subtitles above the stage! The staging (a huge wooden box containing a massive mound of earth with glitter pouring from the stage ceiling) and costumes (when they weren't naked) were contemporary so I still feel the need to see another more traditional version to compare. The theatre was very beautiful too.
