optical illusion

I got in from work at 9.45pm, after leaving the house at 7.45 this morning. After a cuppa, sandwich and tucking James in, I was sat checking emails, and noticed the desk lamb shining against my window and making the raindrops seem quite blippable.

What I find interesting, is that the photograph has reversed the reality - the raindrops look like they are inside the window, and the lamplight looks like it is coming from outside....and the camera seems to have caught the texture created by the water sitting on the surface of the window. For a desperation blip, I was quite pleased!!!!

Edit - after I posted, I just changed the image to negative image. Have posted it on Picasa - I love the negative because it looks like an eye, BUT once I have posted my blip, I don't change my mind, particularly when Corin walked in and said "wow - that looks like a planet with stars - amazing whats right under your nose!"
