Sushi Time...

Sushi here is quite a placid cat. She enjoys a wee bit of attention now and again but equally likes to hide away in some corner of the house and keep herself to herself. She plays on the odd occasion when you tempt her with string or she comes across some object that will move rapidly when agitated but I also have this wee game that I play with her.

We have a sort of balcony that over looks our stairs with these bannister type posts. Sushi loves chasing your hand if you just poke it through the gaps. She looks to play rough if you think of her actions in human terms but when you remember she is just a cat, she is just messing about trying to catch your hand. Only thing is that you have to watch as she has significantly sharper fingernails than us.

This is more fodder for the animals theme of work photo club photo of the month. I love how these sort of actions show you the clear link between our domesticated animals and their rather larger cousins on the evolutionary tree.
