Mealmarket Close

Snatched a couple of minutes from the weekly Friday late afternoon shopping routine to get a shot of Inverness's High Street with the Christmas lights. But in the end stuck with this one of Mealmarket Close - a narrow alley running from the High Street to Baron Taylor Street which is beyond the arch at far end. Also the site of Inverness's only decent public lavatories (payment required but attended). It's a quick route between the two streets but perhaps not all that inviting as the nights draw in. But like some of the other similar closes full of interest and character. After a quick shot back to M&S where Mrs P is planning the week's meals. Not all that long ago I used to do a lot of real cooking but now take the easy way out.
