Going beyond gold.

The children chose to use a dove to represent some of the underpinning values of the olympic games. I love the whole meaning of the canvas and the warmth and hope it seems to radiate to all.

Three beautiful things:

Time - To meet a friend after school for a gingerbread latte complete with whipped cream. It was definitely needed after this week especially as we will be missing our normal Saturday morning coffee and a catch up.

Completion - both Olympic canvases have now been completed and they are just simply stunning to look at. It is quite amazing to think that they have both been produced by children ranging from 7yrs to 11yrs. I will blip the secon one next week.

Weekend - I am really looking forward to this weekend and catching up on some jobs and getting some Christmas shopping done. A welcome relief to all that has happened this week.
