Bit windy today!

Even most the seagulls were grounded. Some were flying around but were having trouble making headway against the wind.
I tried to get some shots of the flying one using the zoom but the camera took too long to sort itself out after I pressed the button - strangely it worked better through the windscreen than outside!! Problem was that most of them were chopped off (due to shutter lag during which you can't see to folow the subject!!) or out of focus??

Anyway these 2 had obviously given up and were just grounded and looking miserable - like most of the humans that were outside!!!

Weather forcast on Radio 2 says winter will start in ernest now!!
