High or Low?

A week away and now I'm back home! I can't tell you how good it feels to be back home, it lifts your spirits no end. That's not to say that I haven't enjoyed the week up north far from it, but it's always good to get back to where you belong.

I think I overdid it on the driving today though, I drove straight through without stopping and I think 5 hours in the car has ruined my right knee, I'm in blinking agony with it at the moment. Hope I haven't done any long term damage. :(

Here is one of life's mysteries for you?..if this is the highest point of the A465 Heads of the Valley Road, how come no matter whether you're coming from the west or the east the sign is actually on the down slope? If anyone knows the answer to this puzzle please let me know as it bugs me every time I past it. Lol!
