Woods

Picked up Mrs P's new (to us) LandRover this morning, then dropped her off at lunchtime, filled it up with fuel and went for a trip into the woods for a lunchtime blipwander.

Don't let the golden rays deceive you, it was absolutely freezing in there, and very noisy with the wind howling through the trees and leaves. Only saw one other person up there with his dog, so it was very peaceful and relaxing, exactly the sort of time out I needed today in between what is and will be an entire day of conf calls.

When driving back over the hills to the village this morning with the new beast, we saw our first snowfall of this year! It was sleety, but still, thats it officially Winter in my book.
