Follow My Leader

After I had parked my car up and started my short walk to the office I noticed this cat sat on the wall. As I love cats I just simply had to stop to say hello - as you do. Well he/she then followed me almost to the office door.

It was at the office today that the word "leader" and "leadership" seemed to crop up a lot. The best comment being about me and how I am a very good leader. This obviously stems from my time in the Army where leadership skills are paramount. I learnt so much in the Army and a heck of a lot about myself. I just wish that I could be allowed to draw on those skills in my current role instead of being told how to perform by managers who quite clearly cannot manage.

Whilst some people like to follow suit, I'm simply not a "follow my leader" type of person. I like to be in control not controlled.
