Thankful

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!

I got up early to go with my dad to pick up
Grandma. By the time we got back, my brother was awake, his girlfriend was on her way, and my aunt was halfway here! We ate TONS of food, drank loads of wine, Kopparberg, and Leffe Brune... It was great. Then I took a 2-hour nap and when I woke up, my crush had texted to wish me a happy Thanksgiving ;)

In time-honored tradition, we've spent the rest of the day intermittently napping and watching TV. I remember about 10 years ago my brother's German penpal called on Thanksgiving and I spent half an hour trying to explain that the only celebratory activities this holiday are eating and sleeping. He seemed to think it was kind of an empty holiday. Maybe so, but I can't think of two more American activities!

So happy Thanksgiving everyone! I'm genuinely thankful that I've found this site and all the great people on it :)
