Helter skelter harlequin

It was so wet and miserable this morning that the bright colours of the helter skelter on George Square made for a welcome blip.

I took a couple of pics of tree bark at lunchtime, because the banding of it looked striking. Only seeing on my PC tonight it also looked quite obscene. Oh well...

I also took umpty pictures of my bargain=buy Berghaus trail shoes (Millets had a flash sale on today) but apart from being a rather bland blip, the flash on my camera just obliterates anything in its path.

So diamonds it is.
