CHINESE ARCH, NEWCASTLE ON TYNE

This is the Chinese Arch at the North end of Chinatown in Newcastle on Tyne. The Arch was built in 2004 by Shanghai craftsmen. It stands 11 metres tall. In the background you can see St. James Park ( I refuse to call it anything else) - home of Newcastle United Football Club.

I went to the cinema today in Newcastle. I won 2 free cinema tickets a while ago but hadn't used them as there seemed to be nothing showing that I fancied. I have to use them by the end of the December so time was running out. So I chose a film which seemed OK - " Tower Heist " starring Ben Stiller. It wasn't bad - some laugh out loud bits. Just got to hope there is another film I like the look of before December 31st.
