Toto, I've a feeling we're not in Kansas any more!

"The Wizard of Oz" is one of my favourite films, and this quirky little book gives an insight into the world of one of its stars, Toto.

Terry, the cairn terrier, made over a dozen movies in her career, with stars such as Spencer Tracy, Shirley Temple, and of course, Judy Garland.

One of my favourite quotes from the book is: "During the first take of this scene, I tried to bark along with the tune 'We're off to see the Wizard', but the director wasn't too keen on my improvisation. He gave me the best director-to-actor advice I ever received: 'Don't just say something. Stand there!'"
