Flying the flag for Scotland The World Over
The saying 'One good turn deserves another' came true today when his Lordship allowed me to blip him flying the flag for Scotland in exchange for half of my birthday chocolates.
What you don't see in the blip are the ropes tethering him to the ground preventing him from being blown away over Arthur Seat to a watery grave in the Forth, such was the force of the wind.
His expression is one of resignation at having to pose in full view of passing motorists who, keen to see what the occasion was , were in danger of having a pile up on our account.
With the mission accomplished, his smile reinstated and the blip in the bag, we went for a warming coffee before my Mosque outdoor lunch with a group of reprobates from Blipfoto.
The consensus among the lads was that this reinstated 'original Mosque cafe' was not up to the standard of the old characterful one with squinty tables, a leaky plastic roof and pigeon poo.
They noticed that the staff were different and prone to give you enough rice to feed a family of twelve. The degree of chill was just the same though.
I have a feeling that the next Mosque lunch could be back in the inside venue with the original staff.
