In The Occupied Territory

The Night

Continuing with yesterday's theme, and to quote one of my subscribers, black is the new black.
Beware the night.
I don't understand people's fear of night and darkness.
They say, " I can't go down that street, it is too quiet and dark."
Well if it is quiet, that means there is nobody there.
If there is nobody there, then no-one can harm you.
To quote Franklin D Roosevelt, " So, first of all, let me assert my firm belief that the only thing we have to fear is fear itself-nameless, unreasoning, unjustified terror which paralyzes needed efforts to convert retreat into advance. "
He also said something which is entirely relevant in today's economic climate, and with Occupy Wall Street and similar protests going on in cities all over the world.
"Roosevelt's first inaugural address outlined in broad terms how he hoped to govern and reminded Americans that the nation's "common difficulties" concerned "only material things."
