the road home

There is something about Thanksgiving that makes me very nostalgic. It is a simple celebration really - just a family meal. And so I guess I am nostalgic because I think of all the various family members I have shared that meal with over the years - all long gone now, or else celebrating in their own homes. It makes me long for the perfection of celebration in my heavenly Home!
