Unbound

Today(*) I took delivery of a book. No ordinary book. One I helped fund. A book that without my money upfront might never have been made(*).

My first foray into venture capital investment(*) was to send a few pound towards Unbound - a publishing company with a difference. Authors pitch ideas for their books to potential investors, and keen, rich(*) readers put money into the project upfront, either for the book or for the book and other delights.

I chose to bestow my few pounds on little known(*) author, and oft times comedic fellow, Terry Jones. His book, "Evil Machines", was Unbound's first project, and it has just come to fruition. Fantastic.
