Ouch!

Chef was out at the Celtic game tonight so I got to flex my culinary muscles (with clear instructions about what was for dinner).

It was a Mexican feast with refried beans, guacamole and salsa. Lots of chilli, garlic and tomato abound.

Before dinner I decided I needed a quick shower to freshen up while chef plated the goods.

All good so far - right until I decided to give
my face a good splash of water using my chilli infested hands to give it a good rub over - ouch! My eyes have never stung so fiercely!

Thanking goodness for small mercies I reflected that at least it's the face we're instinctively inclined to wash first. :(
