Waiting Room

I couldn't believe how bloody cold it was in Rotherham this morning.
The wind could cut a frozen bovine carcass.
And the train was a few minutes late.
And there was no shelter on the platform due to construction work.
And I had a half hour wait in Doncaster.

Luckily there was a waiting room ............ which nobody but me was using.
Why?
I think the cold must have addled their brains.

I liked the floor.
It reminded me of my primary school days - although I have no idea why because I can't think of any similar floor in the school.
(A variant is here)

The train home was rather busy so I didn't get the chance to get the computer out and work on the flowers that were on my windowsill when I got up this morning (I suppose they were there when I went to bed as well - but I didn't notice them then).

This evening I was out with the 'selection committee' choosing images for the next 3 club competitions ......... job done and a weight of our shoulders for a while.

Now I have the chance to sit and relax and have a beer.

Whew!
