Tea and Sympathy

Well, a few things for today...I have so much work to be doing which I am cracking on with as soon as ive blipped. Essay word count is still zilch, would like to have made considerable headway before Logs gets home but sometimes its not the easiest. The flat needs a quick tidy, the dogs need walked...
Actually just got back from the vet, Nikita's foot is really not so good. The vet said her glands are swollen in her leg aswell as a couple of toes. She has some painkillers (which are flavoured and were wolfed down) and also some antibiotics (non flavoured and shoved down a prised open slobbery mouth) The fire is now on and she is snoozing happily, as is her little buddy Bailey.

I was informed of some sad news by mum earlier. Her sister-in-laws dad passed away at 9pm last night, he has had a brain tumour and has not been doing well. I didnt know him so well but he was a very nice man and my mum and grandparents got along with him well.
So abit of a mixed day, cant get my head around work - just really cant wait to see my mum at the weekend. It is very much needed.
So my solution for the day is tea...lots of tea.
