Birthday cupcakes

It's my birthday tomorrow and for some strange reason, in my department, it is the birthday girl (or boy) who has to provide the cakes. I tried a new recipe today, from the Primrose Bakery, but it seems a little dry and dense for my liking. Hopefully the incredibly chocolatey frosting and ridiculously over the top decorations will make up for it. Back to the old fairy cake recipe next time!
