Woody
Spent the day at RSPB Old Moor - and yes, today I did remember my camera. The forecast was unpromising, but we decided to go anyway. It turned out to be a lovely day, and we saw some fine birds, including snipe, grey partridge, goosander, goldeneye, teal, wigeon, kestrel and two great spotted woodpeckers at the garden feeders. They were considerate enough to pose in the trees, so I was able to get this picture and a few more of which this is one from the lovely newly refurbished garden hide.
We missed the excitement in Sheffield, however, as there was a White Stork reported at my friend's school.
