Fairy Ring

We have accquired a Fairy ring, it appears to be related to a flat form of conifer that when released from a patio tub it had lived in for over 15 years, it then set about taking over the front garden! After several attemps to keep it spread in check ( none of which were pleasing on the eye ) it had to go. The roots had spread even further than the branches judging by this ring, the stump sits on the western edge not in the middle of the ring as the patio and house prevented root growth that way. I couldn't get it all in one shot, but as you can see by the curve, its well over 12ft in diameter. Hope they dont keep us awake at night dancing and stuff !! Have a good evening one and all ;-0
