The source of the Blue Nile

Tississat falls, located 30Km from Lake Tana.

Amazing to see the Blue Nile pouring down into the gorges on its way to Khartoum in Sudan. Due to a nearby hydro electrical power scheme, the waterfalls are no longer in full force but thanks to yesterday rain we could witness a good show although brown instead of blue!

And I couldn't leave out of my day blip the amazing smoothie that we had at the end of the walk: mango, guava, avocado and papaya TO DIE FOR ;)
