~long dreary day~

Today was a long day. We started out pretty good. The boys are off all week from school and we were having a nice, lazy morning until Lily threw up all over again and I called the Doctor (my work) and the kids and I were off to have her checked. It's times like this that I am so thankful to work were I do. We are always a quick drive to some wonderful Doctors that I trust so much to care for my family. The Doctor checked her and decided that she did have an ear infection, her first! Poor little thing, she also had to have her blood drawn due to some swollen glands that I noticed a few weeks ago. She hated it of course, and then we were off to the pharmacy and home to wait for a call. She was crabby and fussy all day and the poor thing never napped. Thankfully I got a call at 5 and was told she was ok, I viral reaction was responsible for the swelling. I hated that lingering feeling all day that something could be wrong with her. We are so blessed with a healthy family and for this I am utterly grateful. She is finally in bed and asleep, at least for now..... I did manage to go outside in between rain storms and grabbed this shot of Buddy, he is now all brushed and looking much better then here. He is such a fur ball, but a sweet amazing fur ball!
