Survivors

I often marvel at the instances of trees and such that manage to grow in totally non-nurturing spaces. These three trees are clinging to a small patch of dirt covered with English ivy, which of course would grow there, high up alongside an overpass with a major cavity below created for the bus tunnels. They are brave strong little things; one wonders how long they may go on.
