It's driving me to drink.
Gaffer's taken a fancy to visit a Christmas/Continental market this year. First one which hove into view happened to be York. Ever tried getting a couple of nights on a caravan site with only 3-5 days warning? Or for that matter plaiting fog?
Another nowhere day, unless you count ''a bit of a crack'' with the doctor bloke. He's bothered about my cholesterol, can't imagine why; I'm not.
SO! Finally found a site which doesn't appear to have a book online facility, too late to phone, try ''In the AYfullness of the EMm'' as we've said for many years.
The wine? Oh, having been, slowly, converted to red wine, (most seemed to taste like iron tonic) we started to try a few others. The first decent one we experienced was a Shiraz, which we didn't get the name of and have never succeeded in finding a decent one since.
Eventually we found, and settled on Merlot, Specifically Chilean, preferably central valley. Recently found this one which is, currently jockeying for pole position.
