THICK MIST ENVELOPS US

on our journey to Germany. At seven o'clock Piet Hein says I don't hear the Randstadrail (there was a strike yesterday) perhaps they continued the strike. I volunteered to have a look at the stop and found out that there was some disturbance but that was only temporarly. Nevertheless we left home at eight thirty to avoid any risk. So we had one and a half hour in Amersfoort and walked into the centre and found a little canal in the mist. Good opportunity to make photos. Thank you Blipfoto! Nearly mist another train in Herford, but that one was warned and waited a couple of minutes. So at six o'clock we reached our home tired but safely.
My yesterday's photo of the gulls was appreciated by so many blipfriends, I am glad I made it and that it was liked a lot. I love looking around me and try to make a nice photo to show here, as I am happy to admire the daily photos here on blip.
I will come back to-morrow to visit and make comments. But let me say for now I am ovewhelmed and thankful.
I want also thank Mischa because she helped to make the choice.

My haiku:

Now the soft silence
Of the sleepily landscape
Lullaby the birds

And the latin proverb:

It is the superfluous things for which men/women sweat.

A bit harsh perhaps, but who am I to know better?
