Farm track
Another back blip!
Another magical balmy and sunny day. N, T and I took outselves off to a local restaurant in an old village house over the hill for a Sunday lunch treat. We had a good time and the roast beef was very tender although of the "modern variety". By that we mean texture and sometimes lack of flavour for different reasons. (Beef farmers can get very critical!).
After lunch we walked round the newly roofed cattle yards at the bottom end of the farm. The power line has been moved and the roof is secured on the second building but the feeders and gates have yet to be concreted in. Hopefully that will happen this week since the cattle need thinning out from the other pens. At least they are now under cover for the winter.
This is the view of the farm track on the edge of the hamlet. The house on the right belongs to the neighbouring farm.
