Christmas Confetti.

Tonight was Aberdeen's Winter Festival Christmas Lights Switch On Parade , and I managed to take 78 crap photos of blurry lights, a heavy police presence and several mildly disgruntled Santas. As we left, I noticed all the confetti had formed a colourful layer on the pavement and road, lit up in the lights of a police van. Funny how hundreds of people can just disperse within 15 minutes, leaving behind nothing but a trail of paper and the odd mitten.
