Malhamvale, Yorkshire Dales

Last night, I slept in a four poster bed, for the first time ever, purely by chance. Maybe I have no romantic soul as, to me, it was just a bed with extra lace curtains. It did look pretty, though.

Today I have been to Malham Cove. I climbed a whole lot of steps and at the top had a walk on a limestone pavement. It was at first, overcast and then misty and for a short while at the top, the sun came out.

We saw a stoat chasing a rabbit and shortly after found the rabbit, alive but stunned, we hope it lived.

We had lunch in a place in Malham that welcomed muddy boots and then we travelled onwards and northwards.
