Aberdeen Winter Festival Christmas Parade.

Met up with some friends this evening to see the Christmas Parade. Even at 22 you can still get excited by Santa!

My friend Rita asked me what the english word for confetti is. She informs me that in Italian 'confetti' is reserved for the white confetti used at weddings and that colourful confetti - such as the kind in the picture - has a separate name that sounds a bit like coriander.
