Last year I took

...a picture of this painting I was working on the night before. First dozen or so blips were of paintings in preparation for a show at Blackfish Gallery.

It has been downhill ever since for painting, but after 365 days of taking pictures learned a few more things about photography. Soon after joining Blipfoto bought my first dSLR, a used telephoto lens and had fun taking pictures of birds. To get even closer installed a blind in the backyard. That got boring soon enough. Too easy. For many months have not used the Nikon, playing instead with the iPhone. Like the in the moment, spontaneous use of it.

After a few months my wife HKoba joined Blipfoto. She's doing well having had 4 spotlights to my zero. LOL. Thanks to all who view and comment on our blips. Although I'm not social by nature I enjoy the Blipfoto community.
