the friends of sunday lunch
Harriet and Anna haven't been in the same room since my 21st birthday party back in 1994 - and here they are, together again in The Coopers Cask in Hove, reunited over an enormous roast dinner, to catch up and chat about the direction our lives have taken us all in, to discover on the walk back that it seems no-one we know really lives a 'conventional' life compared to that of our parents.
What's conventional really anyhow? All we three know is that it's not important, it's the happiness and joy of good people, nice food, appreciating the liberal life we have and enjoying the small things.
