Running with daddy!

I have been on a GREAT walk tonight. Mum and I jumped in the car to go to our favourite walk to the sea wall, it's at the very very end of where we live and when we got there guess what????? Daddy was there on his bike!!

I was sooooo excited to see him. He was waiting when mum opened the boot and at first I gave him a good woofing because he was wearing his funny cycling helmet! He looked a bit scary!!

ANYWAY, it was BRILLIANT because I go off my lead straight away down the path and I could run alongside daddy on his bike! We went reeeeaaalllly fast and left mum MILES behind taking photos. Then I got a bit worried about mum so I ran all the way back to her to check she was ok. It was GREAT running between both of them. I didn't even need the chicken holler....no.....not once!

Then it got even more EXCITING because daddy had my ball thrower, we would run along really fast and I would have to keep an eye on him for when he threw the ball! It was FAB. I jumped in and out of pools, kept running between mum and daddy and rolled and rolled in the wet grass. The sun was setting and it was really peaceful (apart from me of course!). Mum took lots of photos but now says she "needs" a zoom lens more than ever! Daddy says that this new hobby is going to burn a big hole in his pocket ;-)

I am home now. I am a bit weird about food at the moment. I feel a bit strange and have been avoiding it for a few days. Tonight mum made it REALLY exciting. She was singing a song called "Ooooooo I bet you are hungry Lily" and doing a little dance. She was VERY exciting (daddy was looking on in amazement!) then she ran around the kitchen table with my bowl so that I ran after her and COULDN'T WAIT to get to my food. I scoffed it all down really quick! It was much better tonight, I didn't feel weird at all :-)
