Proagoderus watanebei
Yes, at the age of 20, I spent my Sunday identifying and pinning dung beetles, for fun. I'm single, by the way.... Anyway, the beetles were as a memento of my trip to the Bornean rainforest in September. This cheeky little lady is a Proagoderus watanebei, and the males have far more impressive horns, longer than their heads! The orange was used as I couldn't think what else to put the pint into (they're all together now in a crowded display box, but I wanted a solo shot). Now I must go to the library to catch up.
Bye Barbara
