Manchester
Beetham Tower.
Tallest building on the Manchester skyline (at present) completed in 2006. A feat of engineering it might be. I think it's an eye sore. But in a series of photos from the city it had to be blipped! Also shown, two lamp posts, one in decorative christmas attire!
apparently the architect of the Beetham Tower, Ian Simpson, bought and resides in the top floor (47th) penthouse which is the highest living space in Britain. It cost him £3 million and features a semi-indoor garden containing 21 four-metre high olive, lemon and oak trees, shipped from Italy, and placed before the roof was built.
