The Prince Returns

Joshua sauntered back today after a few days absence. Fat and fluffy and dry, he obviously had no trouble getting out of the storm the past few days. This cat has the absolute demeanor of Garfield and, in fact, that is what the neighbor a few houses down calls him. When Josh stopped showing up for meals after the cold rain set in, we were tempted to be concerned about him, but were fairly sure he had just convinced a neighbor to let him be an indoor cat until the rain passed. He's shameless! For a cat born wild (to Christmas Kitty...who remained wild) three years ago in our back yard, he was absolutely determined to be a domestic cat and, if he could manage it, a house cat. Here he sits looking in our window, hoping for a nap on the rug...which he got.
