No, I wasn't in town shopping, the "C" shopping hasn't even been thought about yet. We were heading for the Concert Hall, for the latest "Naked Classics" concert with the Royal Scottish National Orchestra. Tonight it was Sibelius 5 - what a treat.

Paul Rissman talked about the piece in the first half, with an excellent powerpoint and interviews with members of the orchestra. The Symphony No 5 in E flat major, Op 82, by Jean Sibelius (1985-1957) was performed uninterrupted in the second half.
