Walked up to Grefsenkollen, which will be invaded by skiiers pretty soon, but was just for walking today. That's one of the two best views of Oslo, along with Ekeberg, where I took this shot. Fittingly, there are restaurants at both overlooks.
That's one of the things that makes Oslo so incredible; it's hard to think of another city where you can get up so high over the city (without skyscrapers, I guess) and be able to look at so much of the city. Oslo's tallest buildings look like dominoes from the surrounding mountains.
This picture isn't so creative or great, the sun abandoned me the moment I took out my camera, but I think the view speaks for itself. This isn't looking at the center city, it's looking across the human city's northern border (the actual border is, of course, deep in the woods) at the Holmenkollen Ski Jump.
