Saving the Planet ?

Now don't get me wrong I think recycling is good, but why do the council make it so difficult? First off every council has different rules so when you go visiting and try to be helpful you end up putting suff in the wrong bin. We now have three bins, the Green bin is landfill non recyclable. Then the Brown bin started as garden waste but has now had added cardboard and food waste cooked and raw. The blue bin was paper, plastic drink/milk bottles and tins this has just been add to by all plastic pots and tubs, food trys and film , cartons and mixed glass! Highly comendable! But why then is this new blue bin only to be emptied once a month, the brown bin with food, raw & cooked only emptied fortnightly, while the what should be albut empty landfill green bin is emptied weekly!!!!??? Is it me or is the above madness? The other thing that worries me about recycling is "where are the pedals" ????? Hope you are having a good weekend one and all ;-)
