Ruby Charlotte

In my 390 blips to this point, there has been a shameful omission: my goddaughter Ruby has not appeared. She nearly has done several times, her brother and mother have both appeared, but Ruby herself has never made it.

So here she is. She was just off to her Saturday morning ballet class and had very proudly dressed her four-year-old self in her pink ballet shoes, Angelina Ballerina headband and black leotard.

With both legs through one leg hole.

I did my very best impression of a solicitous godmother and didn't laugh out loud until later...
