A most tranquill saturday afternoon in November

My walk in the afternoon sunshine was a lonely affair , I met no one at all until around the bend of the canal came this narrowboat with not one but two pairs of hands on the tiller.

Their oneness and contentment in the quiet surroundings made me happy .

A little later I met three boys who were ferreting and who allowed me to stroke the ferret .Strange that a cuddly little animal can do murder of rabbits without any conscience.
