Sorry We're Closed

It's the end of an era.

After more than 20 years of serving the Tollcross community as a charity shop we ceased trading at 4.00pm today. Despite the notices in the window there were still offers of donations at 3.55pm.

Many people expressed regret that the shop was to close and that they will miss the friendly and welcoming atmosphere and the helpers will miss the loyalty of the regular customers.

The shop is only closing because the premises are to be sold to Morningside Baptist Church, who purchased Central Hall (first floor and above) from the Methodist Church who still own the shops below at street level.
