A chilly weekend stomp on a deserted beach in November?

The beach carpark was as busy as a summer's day today.

It was a lovely day and the surf was good. It's amazing how people can appear on the North Devon beaches in their hundreds at weekends as if by magic.

It's so odd though that just an hour after I took this photo, at 3 o'clock, it was dark.

Much needed sun though. So welcome.
